We are very happy to share that a sacred Divya JYOTI has arrived in New Jersey from the holy caves of Shri Vaishno Devi Mandir in Jammu. More than just a light, it carries the blessings and presence of Mata Vaishno Devi. The JYOTI stands as a symbol of purity, protection, and a powerful energy that unites us through devotion and faith.
A special havan was performed at the Vaishno Devi Mandir, and sacred items from that ceremony will be used in a Maha Yagna at our Mandir on September 28. Thereafter, the Divya JYOTI will travel from home to home, spreading Mata’s blessings to families in our community.
When the JYOTI graces your home or business, an auspicious havan/pooja will be performed by our temple priest. The suggested donation for hosting this sacred havan/pooja is:
$5,100 (Monday to Thursday)
$11,000 (Friday to Sunday)
The grand celebration and installation of the Akhand JYOTI will take place at the Hindu Samaj Mandir on November 22. The JYOTI will remain lit eternally in the temple as a blessing. Our temple will then become a Tirtha Sthan.
We warmly invite you to be part of this special gathering at your temple—an extraordinary occasion filled with devotion, joy, and the sacred blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi.
Other meaningful ways to take part in this divine journey include:
Sponsoring the Maha Yagna on Septemer 28
Sponsoring Langar Prasad on September 28 and/or November 22
Sponsoring Mata ki Chowki on November 22
Sponsoring flowers for the temple
Joining the devotional procession with the JYOTI from the entrance of the parking lot to the arch
Carrying the JYOTI from the arch into the Mandir, a deeply spiritual and blessed act

Support Two Transformative Projects for Our Temple!
Dear Devotees,
We are excited to announce two important projects that will enhance both the spiritual and communal experiences at our temple. These initiatives reflect our commitment to honoring our traditions while creating spaces that meet the needs of our growing temple community.
Repurposing the Temple Arch: The temple’s iconic arch, recently removed from atop the temple, will be given new life through a dedicated platform on the temple grounds. This sacred outdoor space will provide a beautiful setting for havans, weddings, and other religious ceremonies, creating a special focal point for our rituals.
Estimated cost: $35,000
Creating a New, Larger Stage: The second project involves constructing a larger stage in our community center, featuring the historic 19th-century temple doors from South India that were gifted to us. This stage will include integrated lighting and soundproof flooring, enhancing our ability to host religious and cultural programs, as well as community events.
Estimated cost: $50,000
We are aiming to raise the necessary funds over the next 10-12 weeks, coinciding with the year-end giving season. Your contribution will help us create these sacred spaces, blending ancient traditions with the needs of today.
We’ve set up a targeted fundraising campaign on this website, making it easy for you to contribute and share the campaign with your friends and family. Soon, we will share photos of the antique doors and renderings of the new stage to inspire everyone to be part of this transformation.
How You Can Help:
Donate: Every contribution, large or small, makes a difference.
Share: Help us spread the word and invite others to support the cause.
Engage: Stay connected with us and follow the progress of these projects.
Together, we can ensure these projects are completed on time and that our temple remains a center of devotion, tradition, and community for generations to come.
Thank you for your continued support and generosity!
With Gratitude,
The Temple Sevaks
