If you are looking for a serene, scenic and gorgeous venue where a spectacular temple is located next to an exquisite ballroom, look no more. The Hindu Samaj Mandir & Community Center offers a perfect setting for a dream wedding. Taking your marriage vows in the midst of such a unique ambiance can make your wedding a most memorable one.

The Ballroom is equipped with a spacious mezzanine.  We also offer an auditorium complete with a stage within the temple premises. We are conveniently located on Route 202 in Mahwah, New Jersey, with access from Routes 17 and Route 287.  Events can be booked on weekends as well as weekdays.  Any type of event can be booked such as wedding, sangeet, mehndi, engagement, vnot sure what that meansidhi or ganesh puja, bridal and baby showers, meetings or birthdays.  

Events can be as small as 20 people and as big as up to 400 people.  

Our event director is happy to provide you with a preferred vendor list.  We have caterers as well as decorators who will work with you.   We provide tables, chairs, wedding mandap / bride & groom chairs / Priest services, Setup & Cleanup.  All events are provided with a chaperone who will assist you with setup before the event and help during your event.  The temple also offers changing rooms, at a nominal charge.  Parties can use the professional kitchen in the temple at a small fee. 

(All bookings are for 5 hours except where noted. Additional hours for extra time.

Main Level:

1. Ball-Room (Community Center) - Occupancy up to 400

2. Front Lawn - Occupancy up to 50 

3. Back Lawn - Occupancy 400+

4. Main Temple - Occupancy up to 40 for Wedding Only  

Lower Level:

1. Dining Hall - Occupancy - 90

2. Kitchen

3. Small Auditorium - Occupancy – 120

4. Classrooms   - From 5 – 50 people  (No availability during Sunday school)

Please note that only Vegetarian food is allowed. NO MEAT (including Eggs)/ALCOHOL ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES (inside OR in the Parking Lot).
